Getting between Vis and Komiza is easy: Komiža is connected by regular bus lines with Vis. There is no ferry between these two places. The only ferry that goes to and from Vis is a ferry to/from Split and to and from Komiza, the ferry to Bisevo Island. The cheapest and most convenient way to get between these two places is to use the local bus. The alternative is a taxi or water taxi. Here is what is available:

Where to get bus tickets?
You will buy your bus ticket from the bus driver, once you board the bus. Cash only, no cards accepted. Online ticket booking is not available. The bus routes are serviced by the local bus company that serves all bus routes on the island.

Important Notes
- Buses do tend to meet all ferries although for some ferries to Vis Island, you have to check for updates on arrival.
- The alternative transport is to take one of the waiting taxis at the taxi station at the ferry terminal (taxi tel numbers are on the bellow map). Uber does not operate on the island.
- Vis Island is interconnected by buses between Vis and Komiza & by minibusses with some other villages: Podspilje, Zena Glava, M. Zemlje, and Rukavac (see the map below). For minibus service check with the driver in advance: ++ 385 91 271 3011.
- On Sundays, buses operate on restricted schedules.
